Believe it or not!

At times I get an impression that when I’m in the middle of a conversation that some folks can’t believe that my life experiences are real, or that they do believe the craziness and want to know more.

Thus I dedicate this project to these wonderful folks that have urged me to share my experiences.

Although I’m rather a private person, sharing my life stories and passions is a great treat for me. As with many projects, it will ever be evolving and expanding.

Hope you will enjoy it and stay for the ride.

A Short Bio

Although Ken Casey now lives and works in the city of Novato in Marin County, California, Kenneth J Casey was born in New York City. He began working at the age of 12, finding summer and after school jobs mowing lawns, shoveling snow, walking dogs, delivering newspapers, and the like. As a high school student, he worked full time in summer and part time throughout the school year as an assembly line factory worker in Long Island City in Queens, New York.

Kenneth Casey continued to work throughout college, milling steel and doing a range of odd jobs. He went to night school for his training as a certified public accountant, working during the day in various clerical accounting positions with companies such as American Express and Domino Sugar. Mr. Casey became a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1975 and subsequently relocated to California.

Over the next decade, he would establish his own successful tax and accounting firm, expand into real estate with his own apartment property investment-management company, and earn a master’s degree in taxation.

Casey is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys mountaineering, backpacking, skiing, and sledding. He also enjoys white water rafting and competed on the silver medal-winning downriver race team at the Whitewater World Championships. In an effort to give back to his community, he sponsors causes that benefits abused children locally and worldwide.
